We recognise that weight loss is a common problem in the elderly population which increases risks such as falls.Where required for a Resident we fortify the meals to add those much-needed extra calories.
All meals can be eaten either in the main dining room or in the privacy of the Residents own bedroom.
We do not restrict our meal times or have a ‘cut off time’ for when meals can be served. This is all down to the choice and needs of each Resident.
We offer home-made meals, with all food sourced as locally as possible. Meat is from a local butcher, eggs are free range from Betty’s Farm and our fruit and veg is from a local green grocer.

Cottage Pie and fresh vegetables served with gravy.
Lemon Pudding with cream.
Wednesday
Belly pork, dauphinoise potatoes and apple sauce. Served with carrots and spring greens.
Jam and coconut tart with custard.
Thursday
Quiche new potatoes, carrots and mange tout.
Bakewell tart and custard.
Friday
Battered fish and chips with mushy peas. Served with tartar sauce.
Blueberry surprise with cream or ice cream.

Lasagne served with freshly dressed salad and garlic bread.

Roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings, served with gravy.
